New London standoff ends without incident
A stun gun was used Tuesday to subdue a woman and end an armed standoff that police said may have been an effort by the woman to commit suicide by provoking police officers shoot her.

Local police departments review stun gun policies
Local police departments are reviewing stun gun policies and in some cases making changes to meet state standards. Gov. Dannel P. Malloy signed a bill on Monday requiring police departments to document and report the use of stun guns.
